ABOUT The Empowered Health Care Conference will be held Saturday, May 16th, 2009 from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm at The Mission Bay Conference Center located at 1675 Owens Street, San Francisco, CA 94158. The center can be reached at 1-866-431-UCSF. This event is appropriate for all members of the public, medical patients, health care practitioners, anyone living with chronic health conditions, caregivers, health care advocates and those individuals interested in making empowered health care a reality. For more information email: The cost is $80.00 prior to March 30th or $95.00 before May 7th. This is a non-profit educational event. Certificates of Attendance will be provided. Lunch will be provided and there is ample all-day parking on site for $18.00. You may register here online at the EventBrite website. The Mission Bay Conference Center at UCSF is one of the premier meeting locations in the San Francisco Bay Area. The center is located in UCSF’s 43 acre teaching and research campus and is convenient to Berkeley, Oakland, Silicon Valley, the North Bay and downtown San Francisco. The Empowered Health Care Conference is being held in the 350-seat Robertson Auditorium and Reception Area located on the second floor. This links to the Mission Bay website which has directions, a map and other useful information.NOTE: There is very limited street parking is available. Ample on-site parking is being offered at the discounted rate of $18.00 per day.
